Banuri Welfare Foundation Ration Distribution Program is a planned initiative to help provide food assistance and essential ration supplies to vulnerable families across Pakistan. We identify genuinely deserving Mustahiq (Zakat-eligible) families through a discreet and thorough verification process, under the strict Shariah supervision of Jamia Uloom Islamia Banuri Town.
We want to ensure reliable food support for families in need, while helping them preserve their dignity and access the household food that they need.
Our Food Initiatives:
- Monthly Ration Packs: A package containing the essential food supplies a family of five needs to survive for a whole month – flour, cooking oil, pulses, rice, sugar, tea and salt.
- Ramadan Relief Drive: Special large scale Ramadan food distribution to provide Sehri and Iftari ration packages to needy families to enable them to observe the holy month with greater peace of mind.
- Widow & Orphan Support: We support vulnerable families without a breadwinner through regular monthly food assistance and ration support, guaranteeing that they receive essential food supplies without having to beg for a meal.
